Heritage guttering for unique Bristol home
A new build property in Bristol has been given a traditional touch with the use of heritage gutters and downpipes from Guttercrest.
Working with Bespoke Builders, Guttercrest manufactured and supplied guttering and downpipes for the unique project in Bristol city centre.
Fourways, Clifton Village, was designed around an old ash tree with a preservation order. After two years in the planning process, the project used delicate build solutions including piled foundations to avoid the tree roots. The style of the building incorporates random rubble stone and a part copper roof to meet conservation requirements.
The beaded deep flow gutter, also known as aluminium deep run gutters, are inspired by 19th Century guttering. They offer the beautiful, traditional look of cast iron with all the benefits of aluminium guttering, such as being lightweight, robust and long-lasting.
The 125mm wide beaded half round gutter was polyester powder coated in Guttercrest’s own Heritage Black textured finish to complete the cast iron effect.
