Price reductions announced
Guttercrest have announced a price reduction across their entire range of aluminium rainwater goods to support the UK construction industry.
The discounted prices average 15% across the whole rainwater product range.
Fascia brackets on Half Round and Beaded Deep Flow guttering have seen huge reductions averaging 40% due to newly installed machinery.
The price drops follow as a result of substantial capital investment in the firm’s infrastructure over the last two years. Guttercrest has invested over £5m in a brand new production facility and new technology to deliver manufacturing efficiencies and ensure its products are still the best in the market place.
At a time of political uncertainty around Brexit, Guttercrest believe that the UK construction industry needs the support of UK manufacturers to maintain investor confidence and to contribute to projects running on time and budget.
Gary Power, managing director at Guttercrest, says that this is a time for manufacturers to take bold steps and invest in their production facilities to ensure the UK remain competitive and deliver high quality products to the industry.
“Manufacturers have got into a habit of annual price increases without scrutinising their own processes and costs. Today we’re announcing a price reduction after reviewing our current costs and the price of aluminium. We believe that reducing our current pricing is the right thing to do.”
Guttercrest manufacture a wide range of aluminium rainwater goods from their 65,000 sq ft facilities in Shropshire, including gutters, downpipes, hopper heads, copings, cappings, fascia and soffit.
