Click-Fix coping tops off extension of London home

Ali-Fabs click-fix coping has been used as a parapet wall coping solution on a residential extension in London.

The Ali-Fabs click-fix aluminium coping system was acquired by Guttercrest from ABP last year (2017) and added to its portfolio of aluminium copings and cappings to complement their range of rainwater products.

The coping is produced from aluminium sheet and specially extruded aluminium straps with a neoprene rubber seal. With a unique push and click design it is easy to install and totally weatherproof, making it the ideal solution for low-rise, house extension projects such as this.

The property required 5.5m of aluminium coping, including a section of bespoke curved coping with two irregular angles on the modern kitchen extension.

Pressed from 2mm thick aluminium sheet, Guttercrest’s modular coping system is available in standard 3m and 1.5m straight lengths and 1m curved lengths.

The builders, Cuddington Building Services worked closely with the Guttercrest technical team, providing a template and accurate measurements that allowed them to process, manufacture on-site at their Shropshire factory and deliver to site promptly.

Click-fix coping can be supplied in either a mill finish or polyester powder coated to a wide range of BS/RAL colours and finishes.
